Part design shop, part teahouse, and part exhibition space, Nolita's newest business might just be your new go-to resource for specifying small objects and curios. Feng Ye, who has experience working for the Venice Biennale and TEFAF, has officially opened the doors to Sage Collective. Ye sourced the design pieces for sale from remote areas of China—such as Shangri-La, Miao villages in Guizhou, and even the Tibetan plateau in Gansu. The space itself—complete with a De Gourney wallpaper–clad alcove—was designed by interiors firm New Practice Studio. The showroom is located at 398 Broome Street.
